Auf die Frage eines Users, wie der derzeitige Stand des Chatsystems sei, antwortete Community Manager Bashiok im offiziellen, amerikanischen Diablo 3-Forum, dass keine größeren Änderungen mehr an dem Chat-Channel-Interface vorgenommen werden. Man habe zwar einige kreative Vorschläge entgegen genommen, jedoch befinde sich Diablo 3 auf der Zielgeraden und es solle dadurch nicht zu erneuten Verzögerungen kommen.
