Last Night (03/03/10) we had a problem with /range in Blood-Queen Lana'thel 25 man. The range check worked properly everywhere in ICC until you stepped onto the platform above the Blood-Queen's area. This happened for everyone in our raid. If you stepped off the platform onto the stairs leading back down to the Blood Princes it worked properly again. The problem only happened while on the staging platform leading to the Blood-Queen, on the stairs down to her area, and in the area where you engage her.

When in the problem areas the range check listed everybody in the raid as being too close. Well, I am assuming it was everyone. I only saw 6, and always the same 6 people. It worked it /range 6, /range 8, /range 10, etc. It didn't matter how far away you were from anybody you always showed the same people as being in range. I can't say if this had worked properly before the mini patch this week as this was the first time our guild had attempted the Blood-Queen.

Most of the guild was using 4.42-r3689 but a couple people had an older version.

Thanks for the answer. I guess I didn't actually test it with /range 10. That should help, but it really isn't that hard to stay spread out in there.
