I just ran a very layman's test on whether or not DBM was breaking due to another addon.
These are the steps I took:
- Backed up and cleared my Interface and WTF folder.
- Did a fresh installation of DBM.
- Ran WoW only with DBM running.
Ran 2 styles of testing:
- Did a hard "Reloadui" by logging out and in.
- A complete restart of the game from Windows.
Result:
In short, the raid warning position fails to save for both methods of testing.
It does, however, save the X-axis positioning. The RW frame will always reset to the Blizzard Default height (Y-axis position), but retains the X-axis position.
I hope this helps.

I too have this issue in the 'y' axis. It resets itself to the same position (top) after re-log or reset. The 'x' (left / right) axis works. With or without any other add-ons present.
So there is no confusion, this is the item you can move that has the red ball to do so with. The words underneath it say, "Thanks for using Deadly Boss Mods."
